Our corporate is active in debt recovery and acts for a number of local and foreign banks as well as large institutions. The department handles high volume work such as credit charge card claims and loan claims (both secured and unsecured). In 1999, our firm filed a total of 2,719 writs of summons, 2,600 summonses-in-chambers and 12 registrars' appeals, putting us in the top three position for volume of legal proceedings commenced in the courts.

As from 1 March 2000, all such writs and summons were filed electronically. We have a computer system to track the status of each file. This Department is also linked by computer to our institutional clients which enables us to receive our clients' instructions electronically and in turn allow our clients to have access to the status and progress of the files assigned to us.

We also have a large team of experienced personnel to dun the debtors, handle the preparation, filing and service of court documents as well as attend to execution proceedings.
