Yvonne joined the Yeo-Leong & Peh LLC in 2005. She has vast experience in her past 27 years as a practitioner. She has represented, advised and negotiated for and on behalf of clients on a wide spectrum of matters relating to real estate, banking and financial matters. Her clients range from individuals to financial institutions, developers and public listed corporations both local and foreign.Yvonne's expertise includes the following :
- Advising individuals on their purchase and assisting them in negotiating their financial arrangements
- Advising developers on project development and ensuring their due compliance of all regulatory matters relating to the purchase of the land, application of the various approvals and licences from the competent authorities, preparation of the agreements for the sale of the units in the development, negotiating with the financial institutions for financing of the project. Advising the developers on various aspects - contract disputes with their contractors, suppliers and authorities, during the construction of the project.
- Advising clients on regulatory aspects of the Economic Development Board, Land Dealings Approval Unit, Singapore Land Authority, Controller of Housing, Building Control Authority, Land Transport Authority, the Housing & Development Board and the Jurong Town Corporation.
- Advising financial institutions in all matters inter alia, loan structuring, mortgage of properties, syndicated loans for project financing including recovery actions for secured mortgages.
- Advising clients on leases, tenancies for both residential and commercial properties.
