July 2001 ELLE magazine named Claressa Monteiro
one of Singapore's hottest music makers. Since then,
Ms Monteiro's career has soared to new heights.
With a formidable talent and a stage presence which
melds subtle glamour and high-octane exuberance,
the vocalist is the island's most sought after performer
at high profile events which include the Mont Blanc
Business Woman of The Year Awards, Time Magazine's

August 15 & 16, 2002, Starhub presented Ms Monteiro
in a full concert feature at the Jubilee Hall, Singapore.
It was a landmark in the singer's career and was

debut CD release 'Now & Then' is the first musical
product by a Singaporean to be released worldwide
by a major record company. Warmly received in her
